Created entirely in-camera and unedited, Lamina Umbraform explores form through botanical structure in Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia. High-contrast light functions as a sculptural force. Bright sunlight sets a canvas of white; shadow is not absence, but a defining element that carves structure. Through this reduction, organic matter assumes an architectural gravity, oscillating between the biological and the monumental. 

Resisting literal identification, surface and edge stand independent of their source. The collection cultivates slow recognition, form emerging through contrast, suspended between material reality and abstraction. 

Lamina Umbraform developed over several months in 2025, among dense tropical vegetation, lit by the equatorial sun alone. The work moved at the pace of the plants — returning to a single form across days, waiting for the hour its own light arrived.
