Mesozoic HUE225 exhibits 38 pieces drawn from 225-million-year-old formations. The origin of each visual experience remains deliberately obscured to be interpreted as an everlasting flow of vibrant texture.

Through multiple explorations to the remote, desolate host site-2012, 2023, and 2024-I worked through heat, cold, storms, and shifting light until a surface revealed a portal-like structure through which my imagination could peer and form visions. Only then would it be worthy of high-resolution capture.

Though completed over years, my work's creative arc began while dinosaurs roamed across the same ground I trekked as I reflected on the vibrance around me. Each piece functions as a vivid portal to scenes, memories, and visions. As I used my visual senses to capture this work, all other senses absorbed the harsh elements around me so that you, the viewer, can focus all of your senses on the journey the visuals take you on.
